Of coffee cups and tissue notes.

Write about what you know.

That’s how the most common writing advice ever, goes, right? Well I’m gonna take it anyway. Because I have no idea how to blog anymore and to make it easy for myself, I’m going to write about something I know: Coffee.

Now, hear me out. I’m not in any way, shape or form, a coffee connoisseur. But I do like coffee. And I know what I like about coffee. I know that I like camping out at Starbucks as much as the next person. I also know that some friends of mine think I’m crazy for some of the drink combinations I order while at Starbucks.

So why not put all these together and make something interesting out of it?

TheSecretMenu

Everyone has their own version of this ‘Secret Menu’. Some claim the absolute truth in its existence. “Go to a Starbucks and ask for the Moo-moo-Mocha-madness and they will totally know what you’re talking about,” they said. “I promise you they will mix this with that and that other thing, they can’t refuse,” they said.

Unfortunately, the last time I tried ordering an item from the ‘Starbucks Secret Menu’, it didn’t go quite as well. No barista I’ve talked to so far knew these secret Menu items by name, nor were they willing to mix that Banana with my coffee drink, nope. Not happening.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t get creative anymore.

And to challenge that, I’m going to make it my mission to try out every possible drink combination out there (that I can get away with ordering)! Yup. That’s right. I am volunteering myself as tribute to try all these crazy drink combinations so you won’t have to–or so you would, if I end up with a yummy one.

Exciting shit, right? 😉

Stay tuned!

The Crazy Starbucks Challenge begins this coming weekend.

  1. I’ve tried the Grasshopper which tastes like chocolate chip mint ice cream. Yuummmm. It’s Mocha Frappuccino with an extra 1-2 pumps of Peppermint Syrup & some Java Chips. 👍
